Yeah a lot of the stuffs gone, but they puttin in a kfc, I don't think ill be gettin chow there any time within a year.

 

yah chow hall food is good enough at least in my opinion but where i work the food gets delivered to us because we arnt allowed to leave the compound during our shift

 

I 'm just reading threw some old threads, and found this. I think I can help. Here's a tip (it might not be 100% legal, so do so at your own risk). Hang out with the mail clerk when he goes to pick up your unit's mail. You'll get to see if anyone's getting a good magazine in the mail. You may even get to look threw it before it gets delivered to the intended recipient. You could say you're checking for **** (general order#1 is B.S. IMO).

If that doesn't work, talk to some of the helicopter guys that occasionally fly to Baghram. See if they'll check out the PX up there for you the next time they go - It's a lot bigger than that hole in the wall next to the taliban last stand building. I'm a helicopter flying crewchief, and if I were there and you asked me, I'd gladly do that for a brother in arms.
