weight bracket mounted. what yall think?

I would take them off.
It's an additional load for the springs and the front suspension.
Weight also has to be accelerated and to be braked - it will cost Diesel and pads/discs!

do you really thing an extra 50 pounds will hurt a front end designed to hold up a 1100 pound motor for a million miles?

I'm assuming he'll take the weights off when driving around, i think what he wanted to know is if he should leave the thing that the weights hook into on the front or take it off

I'm assuming the same thing... However as far as the bracket, if he likes the way it looks on there he should run it. It's not going to cause any more liability issues than running a homemade/aftermarket bumper. Would I run it? No. But counter weights (or the bracket that holds them) are not my thing...
