Yeah, really. I liked the allison the first time I test drove one, but after really driving an 06 for a while, and now my 07, I'm not that big of fan anymore.

I think most guys want an allison because the grass is greener on the other side.

It's a good tranny, and if I was towing heavy I'd want one simply due to the gears, but unloaded and watching the damn thing try to guess what gear it wanted to be in is incredibly aggravating.
