Default 6.7 L Suggestions!

I just bought an 07 6.7 L mega cab 4x4. This will be my first diesel that I am gonna mess with. Wanna kno from real people what to look at. Instead of looking at companies who all say they are best. To start with any suggestions on air intake, programming and exhaust what are my options and what seems to be best set up. Bully Dog, Edge, AFE, stacks no stacks?? Just want some advice on a set up. I want as many opinions as i can get. I've only talked to 2 people and i heard AFE air intake, Bully Dog PMT and a 4 inch dual exhaust cat back. Can i cat delete and just go straight? Thanx for any info.

At this point I would bet all this is gonna be a crapshoot for ya. These are just to new to the market to have any long term know how on them. Just make sure that when your gettin advise it is actually for the 6.7 and not folks just throwin names around that work for the other engines. The best intake on the market for a common rail may not be worth a damn for your 6.7.

Keep good records on your mods and get some write ups, with pictures started so you can help all us future new truck guys. Were gonna start callin you Lab Monkey.

One suggestion High would make very strongly here, is to take your time on these mods. This is a new engine configuration that will undoubtedly have some bugs to work out and once you start playin with the toys you can't count on warranty work anymore. They may or may not honor the warranty. So take your time, it won't take long for the big time performance boys will have these engines dialed in, but let them do it on their dime intead of yours.

Ya that's why I am gonna try and NOT get too crazy with anything. For now. I am gonna do the normal stuff. Intake box, Exhaust and programmer for now nothing too big just wanna make sure I go with the right brand on the upgrades. Thanx again
