i did this last year and i am still running the same stock turbo. i dont know what my HP is but this was my memory recall from my blue chip FMS box after a wild burnout and launch...now i know at that point all i was doing was making heat but boy was it fun....

max EGT was 1442
max RPM was 2919
max BOOST was 56.1

56 pounds of boost on a HY35??

I bet your drive pressure is out the roof.

anything over 23 PSI on a hx35 is just pressure , its not doing anything for you at all but wanting to blow your head gasket ,

you dont want pressure ! 60 PSI isnt better than 10 PSI , you want air flow , Pressure is a **** poor way to measure efficiencies of turbos , MASS AIR flow would be a better gauge .

When i upgraded my intake and exhaust manifold i lost like 6 PSI , because it wasnt back pressure now the air was flowing through. thats what you want not high boost numbers.
