Default heated seat

my 01 cummins with the leather heated seats has a prob i was wondering before i poke and prod if anyone can help my drivers side when i press the button on low or high just blinks the passenger side works fine but all the drivers does is blink and no warmth and its cold and my rearend would appreciate some help and so would i anybody have the answer and i would be so happy

anybody know where to get a new one aftermarket wise or have one that wants to get rid of i e parting out and what they run and can i take the one out of the passenger side and put it in my drivers side

My guess would be you have a broken wire in there. Happened to me last year and I took the seat cover off and found the bad wire and fixed it. So far so good and my truck hasn't burned up yet

What he said. You have a broken wire in the heating element. You can remove the entire seat cover and look through it to find the broken wire. THen, you will have to gently cut the cover around the break so you can solder it back together. We did one about 2 years ago and its still heating!

That's good to hear So I have at least 1 more year of warranty on mine I really wasn't sure if it was going to hold that long on mine. But I had to try it!
