Default W/M controller

Well i am close to coming home and I need to get the stage 3 W/M controller off to snow to get fixed. Has anybody used the new controller they have now? I was thinking about seeing if i could upgrade. They look alot nicer but I dont even know much about the one i have.

I'm just going to use a $40 7-way PWM coupled with a $100 pump...

I was thinking about trying to do a hobbs switch like a stage 2 but I already have the whole stage 3 kit. I used it for a few days and it broke. I called snow and they were great. They said they were having some problems with the controller when people spliced them into the edge EGT probes. They said to send it in and they would fix a micro prossecer or something.
