I am a HUGE Dodge guy and I have had nothing but good service out of my dodge and so has my dad, uncle, and cousin!! My uncle has a 1995 Dodge Cummins 2500 4x4 with 340,000 hard miles and it just want quit. Original everything even the trans!! With the exception of the usuall tune up stuff like U joints and ball joints and what not. You just cant beat them!!

I went drove a 2010 this am and am really impressed with them. The fit and finish is the best dodge has ever produced. The ride is way better than mine ever thought about being. Now I just need to find someone to buy the 02 and my camper so I can get one.

I'm a mopar guy to the bone but the ONLY reason I have this truck is because of the Cummins. I would buy any of the three for that engine alone...otherwise I'd be in a gasser.

Allisons aren't all that great. There are a bunch of Dmax guys that might differ with you. Turning up the power will grenade them just as easy as the rest. IMO Ford has the best stock auto trans now.....

That's right, Ford has an ace with the 5R110...it's bullet proof. The Allison is the best transmission ever...if you're making stock power.

Getting back to Motor Trend, yeah.... those guys. Automotive journalists are a bunch of retards. I think Motor Trend just gives the award to whomever re-designs their vehicle and offers a bid for the award. I've never read an objective review or report on any vehicle any of the magazines have ever reviewed. I think it was moron trend who gave the Pinto and Chevette great ratings when they came out...

Anyways... Not another Dodge? That's surprising... Any ideas for the next truck?
