Do yourself a favor and bolt it together with these step clamps:

Aluminized SealClamp 5" Pre-Formed

You should be able to get them at just about any truck supply place.

If you ever want or need to take it apart you can. Once you use a regular clamp like this:

U-Bolt Exhaust Clamp 5"

Youre hooped.

Dr. Evil is 100% correct the flat strap type clamps are the only way to go. Anything that pinches will cause you so much aggrevation you will likely have to cut it off.

You dont want the flat ones either. You want the ones like in the pic - it has a step in it where the transition of the two pipes is. It works better at keeping the pipes from moving around. JMO.

If you can get them. I had trouble getting my flat ones for my 4" - the truck shops only had 5, 6 and 7"
