so is the ppe pump for cummins or just duramax because the one on ebay was for a duramax.

 

It's in the setup . Duramaxes run a little bit lower pressure than what we like on the VP-44 but with some fittings and fuel line the pump will work on whatever you choose!

 

A pump is a pump is a pump... They all do the same thing. Some run different pressures, but if its rated to flow 160gph, it'll flow 160gph. I'm in the process of changing some of my fittings around and possibly going to 1/2" hose with my PPE, because right now I drop to about 8psi at WOT with just a 65hp chip. I'm sure the 3/8" line and 90 degree fitting on the pump don't help flow, but thats the huge drawback with the PPE pump. The inlet and outlet are on the wrong side of the pump, so you're stuck using odd fittings.

 

So will a fass ddrp replacement pump be good enough to make good pressure with a 65 hp chip and 65 hp injectors.
