Can anyone tell me the difference between some of the major exhaust brands? I want an aluminized one but I also want a good one. Im looking for a rundown and for suggestions on what I should buy. Any suggestions along with explinations of what the exhaust does and so forth would be greatly appreciated!

 

We have had great luck with Expandit, Diamond Eye and MBRP.

 

basically an exhuast system is a way to get the exhaust out at a quicker flow. An exhaust is an exhuast. The difference between companies is the quality. The price difference is in the material the exhaust is made of. Like for wetter climates you might wanna buy the stainless to keep rust to a minimum. While like here in New Mexico you don't really have to worry about rust as much so an aluminum system will do just fine

 

Ive had MBRP 4" aluminized on all of my trucks with no complaints, they went together easly and are holding up very well.

 

i just had a 4" turbo back system with the big magnaflow muffler put on my 02 dodge 24v cummins. sound quality is the same as stock, only with a little deeper tone. my truck is the six speed manuel trans. driveabilty is pretty much the same empty, but pulling a load, the turbo spools up quicker and pulling power seems better. mileage might be a little better.
