Default 2002 Dodge cummins

I have a 2002 dodge cummins , I was wanting to know what I could do to add mpgs?
I have a an edge ez comp, and a super chip on the fuel saver setting.
Will an intake help? Would a larger turbo kill milage?
And will my 37 12.5 tire make much difference?
Are there better boxes or programmers for milage?

loose the 37's. a bigger aftermarket exhaust, a CAI will help some. One of the biggest factors is your right foot.

are the chips stacked? one of my buddies has an edge comp and i he doesnt get real good milage. it smokes like crazy though and if your makin smoke thats just unburned fuel so what do you expect. and yeah i would say 37 would hurt his fuel mileage for sure. edge makes a mileage max thats suppose to help but idk cause i dont know anyone that has one. im sure theres other brands that make the mileage programmers but thats the one i know of. an intake would help a little too.

Intake System, Exhaust System and some 40-50hp injectors will help as long as you can keep your foot out of the throttle.

Agreed, some RV275 injectors, intake, exhaust, and YOUR right foot make a huge difference. One thing I have noticed myself is try 'coasting' towards a red light/stop sign instead of slamming on the brakes when your 25ft from it. <-----this is if you do a lot of driving with stops. On the freeway, if your doing 70+mph I have noticed a BIG decrease. Keep it under 70 and lose the 37's, they WILL hurt mileage.

What gears are you running?

I'm not sure I would call this a 'unneccesity' if it's the middle of I-10 in the AZ desert at 2 in the morning on a Saturday night pulling 12,000lbs. (Speaking from experience, but I HAD my spare tire, AND it had 80 lbs of air, how many just thought of how much air is in their spare tire? )

This brings me to another idea, air up your tires, but you'll give away some of your ride quality.
