Default Spray On or Roll On Liners for Body Project

Hey guys an galls, I was wondering what is the best way to paint or liner for the lower half of my truck in black. I have a 2007 Dodge Ram Mega 3500 DRW 4x4 and I have oversized tires and do a lot of dirt road driving.
I have order fender Flares for the front and I have always like the 2-tone paint jobs. And I also am looking at blacking out the lights too plus I Have Ranch Hand Bumpers that im fixing to paint black that came off my other dodge that burnt.
But instead of using paint I have seen some trucks with the "Protective Liner" and I was wanting to know what is the best for this project!?
I know Roll on Liner is a cheaper liner but I want something that is going to last and look good to. So if anyone can tell me what they think let me know! Please

Heres a pic of my truck I wanted the liner to run from the body line down so its about a foot or so that would be blacked out and it would run from the fender flares im fixing to add all the way to the bumper. Also might do some on the main fender as well, but Im not sure about it yet.

ive heard of guys using that heruliner stuff. but i think if you want it to last a long time you cant go wrong with line-X, more expensive but deffinatly worth the extra money and alot of the line-x/rhino liner guys will knock off some of the price if you pay cash....

so my opinion would be to have a line-x guy do it, but thats just cause i havent found a decent/long lasting diy kind of kit

if you want a cheep effective way, go to napa and buy the duplicolor liner for $50, ive had mine for almost 2 years now and it has lasted up to mud, snow, sand gravel, road salt, trees, and my pissed off girlfreind. the duplicolor actually dries hard and out of 1 gallon i got over 3 coats. in my opinion linex sucks, my dad has it in his 07 ford bed and is is chipped to hell

If the Line-X is chipping, take it back to where it was sprayed and they will fix it for free. (Lifetime Warranty) That is the best thing about Line-X. I had a 74 Ford Courier, and had the bed sprayed when Line-X first came out in early 90's, and it lasted longer then the rest of the truck did.

I haven't seen anyone with Line-X on the side of there truck, not sure how it would look.

I did a steel ladder rack in herculiner one time and it only lasted about a month before it started peeling off. I have had 2 trucks with line-x bedliner and love the stuff. It is high but the quality is far better than anythin you can roll on. I like the look you are going for.

Damn that does look sweet, might have to take my truck down and get a quote...

I have a black truck, so I think I would go with a grey line-x or something.

Haha I know. I have always like the 2-tone and the Chrome panel rockers. After seen some of these trucks with the liner online I got to thinking well the liner would make best 2-tone since I live on and I drive on dirt roads daily, I wouldnt have to worry about Rock Chips on paint or dents an scratches on the chrome panels. Plus I just think it looks Damn Good
