Default CRANK CASE VENT

is there a simple way to check if my crank case vent is plugged? should it be sucking air or blowing air out (talking about the hose coming down by the oil pan)

Hood a piece of paper under it that way you can see any oil blow and see if it's sucking wind in or bowing it out.

The vent is doing so little its hard to tell. but if anything it seems like it might be sucking in. If it is its just barely. Even with the piece of paper I could not see anything happening.

If you can notice more coming out of the fill port or dipstick than the vent, then something might be amiss.

Is there a reason you are checking the blow by on your engine?? or just pure curiosity

Ya, the rear main is leaking, so I have heard a plugged vent can cause that.

alright, just wandering...that makes sense that a plugged vent could cause a rear main
