vacuum issue

Default vacuum issue

anone got any ideas on how to build a smoke machine so i can test for the vaccum leak for my heater vents. or any other way to test for this

I can't imagine that it would cost more then a few dollars to replace all the vac lines in your truck and get off cheaper and easier then makin some kinda thing. Besides if one is bad your gonna have more go bad here soon.

I find that the best way to detect vacuum leaks is to slowly, delicately run my tongue over all the lines and fittings... It works best if you get all of it in there moist and wet first... When your tongue hits the right spot, then you can definitely feel it...

it must be a wise decition to pull the dash bezel and dash cover off to do this. im hoping one just fell off if not ill just replace them all

A friend of mines trucks vents quit working but it was due to mechanical linkage failure and not a vac leak.

got her resolved it was the main line coming from the engine compartment behind the heater duct that was shot. i ended up replaceing all while i was in there
