Transmission pans: Double Deep or Single deep?

Transmission pans: Double Deep or Single deep?
What is everyone's opinion on the Double Deep pan Vs'. the Single Deep pan?
The Double Deep is 5-7/8" tall, holds 4 extra quarts of ATF4+ (AKA Liquid GOLD...) and comes with a filter relocation to bottom of pan. It would hang down approx as low as the oil pan on the engine.
Single Deep holds 1.5 extra quarts and is 3-7/8" tall no filter relocation to bottom of pan
This is going on the truck in my sig, and either way, I can build a skid plate for either of them to protect them.
I think I'm leaning toward the Double Deep here...
What are your thoughts?

Usually whenever the truck gets driven, I'm towing anywhere between 2K for the empty trailer to 10K...
Recently, I've started driving it pretty hard when I'm not towing... And sometimes when I am towing...
I feel like I'm confessing here...
It goes to the drag strip empty, and to the dyno whenever an event comes up. I drive it without towing, but sometimes it's still loaded..
stkdram55, I tend to think that way, too.
I just was wondering if the pan hanging down that low was a problem for you guys, I guess...
