I Either Popped The Head Gasket Or I Have A Bad Injector
Well I was out playing around in the 89. All was going well, went to take off and the truck started bucking and popping, first thought was... Well... the 50+ PSI finnaly got the head gasket, But then i noticed that the smoke was black, not white or gray. Limped teh truck the 1/2 mile back to the house and noticed hat once the truck got some RPMs in it it ran OK, Turbo? Pulled it apart, nope all is good spins free and has no oil in it. If I get on the truck when it clears up I still get full boost. So after some thinking and talking with GO_OVRIT we are thinking an injector has some crud in it and is sticking open or not spraying right. If you but the truck in gear, hold teh brake and hit teh throttle it sounds like hammering sometimes, sometimes not... All teh fluids look fine.
Thoughts? Can I clean my injectors at home?
Oh and here is a little video. This truck would usually be smokeless or a slight haze at the hrottles I ran it at in this video. You can hear the engine spitting and sputtering

hmm... i had this same thing happen to me in my 89. crack injectors when its idling bad. if a injector is bad it will not make a big difference when you crack it. i had two go out on the bullet so i justified pod's
. i would check by cracking them first

Well Did the compression check...
#1 - Fine
#2 - Fine
#3 - Fine
#4 - None... Zero
#5 - None... Zero
#6 - Fine
My guess is a blown gasket between #4 and #5
Guess its a good thing this showed up today!
