OK so I believe it now, but IMO thats border line practical. Cardboard, tape all over a truck, and folding in your mirrors. I do think carbbelle on CD is full it though averaging 35mpg running his truck in hills up to 80mph. And like others said his RPMs don't add up unless that is because of the GV overdrive.

if my 1st gen gets an overdrive with 3.08's, tall tires and lowered it should be able to get better than 25........i may just put a GV's in it with the factory overdrive just to see how it will do.......

It is because of his GV unit. I personally know Bobby and he is not kidding about the amazing mileage he was getting. He was driving mostly highway when achieving these great numbers. He did have a funky looking front air dam but I guess that helped.

Me too, so until I see it for myself, I don't believe it. Truth be known, I really hope that it can be proven that us nonbelievers are wrong. Because if it happens, I'm doing the same thing to my truck.

Default 30 mpg

I have a 03 2500 with 4:10 rear end that gets 28 mpg at 64 mph on a calm day.
