Default 12v questions

I have read alot on here about twins and know that I will have them before its over but I am the type of person that wants (and needs) to build them myself. My 93 12v has a h1 turbo. Its not big enough to start a set of twins with is it? All i have read is 3s over 5s for the most part. Did these come stock on anything... (Mopeds to bulldozers)?

What the h!@# is a DV

I do believe I have figured out the P-pump and how to trick it but when I start it I will probably have more questions.

I know these are stupid questions but heah... one day I will answer for someone else.. Thanks people

A dv is a Delivery Valve. I can't find the cut-out picture to show where they're located. Someone help me with the picture?

as far as i know no 12v came stock with a set of twins. they aren't hard to build if you have some good fab skills, time, welding ability and patience. there are a bunch of guys that have done their own twins setup but you have to do alot of research to get a good matched pair that the maps will work well with.

a dv is a delivery valve. it is in the p pump right under where the injector line comes out of it. it takes a special 32 or 26 point socket to remove them and replace them. this controls the rate and ammount of fuel that is delivered to the injector

hope this helps

Your delivery valves are located on the top of ur injector pump, right befor ur injector lines and to remove these u need a special socket, i think it is a 32 point but im not for sure but u can get them from snap on or any other tool company. To help answer ur twin turbo question the first gen trucks had hx30 turbos on them, if u can get a hx35 from a second gen truck it would be alot better. then u can use ur stock hx35 and a ht3b or maybe an s400 as ur bottom charger.

Is the hx35 stock on the 2nd gens? Does anyone know what that ht3b or something very similar came stock on?
Thanks for the info on the DVs... never would have figured that one out.

yes the hx35 came stock on the second gen trucks. and the ht3b came stock on a few of the big cummins motors out of semi's like a n14 and I think the 400 cummins I'm sure there are more modles that it came on, but that should get you started.
