see the issue is i just spent $1000 on the biggest single disk on the market because i didnt have the cash at the time for a dual disk, would upgrading the pressure plate from a 3400# to a 3800# even be worth the money

Unless you throw a DD in! I WOULD not do a 3rd gear boosted launch! The singles are just not made like lukesdiesel said to take that abuse....

What kinda HP are you running? I still wouldn't think about boosted launches even uprgrading the plate...

Well if thats the case....you might want to look into the DD...If I was putting pretty good power down...the DD is the way to go! Yea you can prolly put a single in that will hold it but with power.....You know you are gonna want to play with it.....DD is the way to go man...especially for the boosted launches....

well i have the best single disk on the market cant find one with any bigger ratings unless you got to a dual disk, ive done a few 2nd gear 10psi boosted launches before and it seems to hold up good, but i dont think i want to push a 3rd let alone a 4x4 boosted launch

ok lets hear everyones opinion could my cummins beat my dads ford in a drag race, all my mods against his 07 f-350 v-10 gass auto with 37" tires

well im running a set of 35" mud terrains but that shouldnt make a difference, i know ill launch with rubber burning because i always do with that much power thats how i twisted my first driveline was launching against a power stroke out side coeur d alene, god damn you want to talk about the truck shaking holy crap i had a headache for a week
