12v head studs

Default 12v head studs

i am getting 12mm ARP studs delivered on wendssay is there anything special i should know on installing these, i got a few questions like whith the studs installed how are you ever suposed to take the head off?

Use a tap to clean the theads to the very bottom of the hole, use arp moly lube to lube the threads and washer. Retorque...retorque and retorque...

i know the torque thing im very ainal about my truck so i check things like thirty times. if i ever have to pull the head how would i get itit off if those studs are in there, you dont have enough room to pull the head off them

if you want to be really **** about it, use a thread cleaner/chaser instead of a tap; a thread cleaner doesn't remove metal from the block but just cleans any debris out of the threads...

Bottoming Shane..i did not have one when i did mine so i cut one off to make due.

so exactly how would i be able to pull the head at any point with the tsuds on there, there isnt enouph room to pull it off

Remove them like a bolt, they are setup to use a allen head on one end of the stud to remove it.
