Hey guys, i have a good feeling about this, but i got a buddy at work who thinks his truck is just sooo fast. Well i keep getting him all riled up cause i tell hiim ill smoke em with my truck. Its a friendly rivalry. But i was wondering if you guys think i could take him, cause hes got many mods. he has 06 silverado auto, 5.3L( 295 hp stock), cold air, cat back, throttle body, hypertech programmer, 3.43 gears, and thats all i know of, besides the 1500-2000 lb weight difference. Mine is a SO 245 hp stock,afe intake, 4 inch turbo back, 3.55 gears, auto 47re and thats it. I know i got him on torgue he might beat me in the high end but off the line i know he will pay. But what do you guys think, im really curoius.

 

If he knows how to drive, it will be a good race @ 60mph up.. but up to about 60 you should walk away from him. Get some video!

 

The weight is gonna kill you. you might get him right off the line but hes gonna pass you pretty quick but all you need to do to put him to the ground is an edge comp box! then he would not stand a chance on bottom or top end and the race will be even matched cause he already is running a programmer

 

yeah i just blew my spending money for this week on a lift but next week will be a performance mod for sure. but yeah i will have the camera on hand when i do it, but i will just laugh too hard if i bet him all the way to about 80 mph.
