Default Cab sizes!!

I'm thinkin bout gettin a new style dodge 2500 with the cummins... Well, I'm having a quandary... I really love the Mega-Cab's but they are more expensive, and harder to come by...

The 1500 'quad cab' leaves a lil to be desired in the back seats for an adult to be back there, especially since I'm 6'4.... Do the 2500's have more room in the back or is it all the exact same cab? Also, how much worse is the turning radius from a quad cab to the longer mega cab, cause I'm guessin the wheelbase is longer....

Thanks guys!

same cab IIRC i rode in a fellow bombers truck and complained about the back seat and his responce was, looking at his wife that was in the front seat too " i've got plenty of leg room how about you?"

megas are definately the one to go with if you are really tall and long legged...... the turning radius? i dono never driven one so i can't chime in there....

I do not personally have one but I do know this about the Mega Cabs, my neighbor has one and he attempted to use it to haul cars for a living with it and he crushed the cab three times before he gave up, the beds are so short that you will never safely haul anything other than your basic gooseneck trailer, other than that I really liked his inside! TONS of room...

Not so much concerned bout crushing the cab etc cause I don't forsee myself hauling anything that huge, standard car trailer gooseneck MAYBE... Good to know the turning radius is the same though!! Now to find one in my price range!!!

The 1500 and the 2500 have the exact same cab. Check out the pics below.

The megacab was built on the same frame as the longbed. You get a bigger cab, but you end up losing your bed space.
