Default Air Bag Helpers

ok my dad was helping a guy out with his 02 long bed 4x4 dodge and picked up a set of the firestone/riderite air bags to help out with him towing his 5th wheel. anyone have any issues putting these on as it doesn't seem like they have the right space for the ride height they want for them or did we order the wrong part number? ohh yeah truck might have a 4" lift but don't think that should be an issue as it's a block lift.

Mine seemed pretty simple when i had it put on.The bottom base for the air bag on mine has two u-bolts that goes around the axle And the top of the bag base you have to drill three holes into the frame to get it mounted.Hope this helps.I don't think the lift would have any effect on the bags.

when we slap the setup where it goes the top bracket is almost at the top of the frame. thats why I was thinking maybe we ordered the wrong kit as the want it lower than what we have I believe. but we ordered the universal kit instead of the one for dodge. I missed that they had one specially for dodge.

we called the tech and they said some fit tighter than they say is good but it will be fine to just put them on so we did. haven't driven it yet but it's riding slightly on the bags should be a little smoother. but thanks for the help
