Anyone know how the exhaust is going to be set up?
I could see them running true dual exhaust just because exhaust treatment might be easier. And meeting emissions as well.

seen one of those in person the other day. Not sure if it was a diesel or not though. Looks like a ford I think.

The diesels aren't gonna be out til 2010, so it was a gasser. I don't know how you guys are seeing Ford... Toyota maybe, but even thats a stretch. I like 'em. Go sit in the Laramie and tell me you couldn't live in that thing.

Errr,V-8 diesel? count me out, ford made the last one I'd buy when they built the last one with a 7.3 in it.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Maybe they should have just worked over the 4bt?

I think the problem with the Inline engine is emissions, why that is I don't know but something about a hi-revving V-8 diesel supposedly makes less harmful pollutants, I guess

I would not buy the truck, but I know many people who loves their 1500s and would buy one with a diesel motor...I think they look awesome though!

I test drove a 09 1500 with a Hemi it was a nice truck. I would love to trade off my wifes 06 Jetta TDI for a half ton diesel.
I would rather see a I4 diesel in the 1/2 ton but I guess you have to take what you can get and I think we will be lucky to see a half ton diesel.
