Default Will They Fit?

Will 305/70/16s fit under a stock truck? I found some BFG TA KOs for 200.00 2 are about half used the other two have more tread than that. Thinking about offering 175.00 What do you guys think?

probably. not a height issue and if you have OEM rims it should work. I know that Toyo MT315's don't fit well with OEM rims and a lvl kit.

They should. 285s fit perfectly on stock wheels. Depending on tire manufacturer 305s are 3/4"-2" wider than 285s. You could possibly get some control arm rub but probably not.

I ran BFG AT 295's for a couple of months before I added the leveler kit. They fit fine.

Compare their specs to the tires you are considering. If they are the same or smaller, not a problem.

According to the numbers listed in the tire rack site:
They will likely rub at full lock on the suspension and under shock compression, they may rub the front inner fenders between the tire and the passenger doors. My $.02

305's will 'fit' on a city truck, don't try to go playing very hard in the dirt or mtns though without leveling. 305's rubbed a tiny bit offroad with a 2" spacer on my 96.

I definitely have some rub on my 01 with 295's.

You will probably be ok. If not, get some new springs: Custom Suspension

Or a spacer from Hell Bent Steel: HBS_HOME

Or Top Gun Customs: Top Gun Customz - Lift Kit and Custom Suspension System Specialists

oh yeah, if you get spacers, definitely get the steel. I had the Hell Bent on my 96, they were nice and ridiculously hurky! I've heard too many bad things about the 'plastic' polyeurethane or whatever spacers breaking.
