Cummins Longevity
Mine is still a youngin!! 06 with just 23,000, she has been sitting since i have been in Korea, my brother may have put 800 miles on her!! Only 1 1/2 months left over here, can't wait to be back and be with the FAMILY and TRUCK!!
97 has 398K
98 has 298K
99 Has 198K
I swear to god I didn't plan it this way,
.
06 has 189K miles on it, time for the tranny to get rebuilt, its not liking to pull the 36ft horse trailer everywhere anymore, a new Trans should solve that.

have replaced no frames, no swapped cabs, no rebuilt cabs, routine maintenance/suspension/steering bushings/balljoints replaced...I don't know where the ford guys get that these trucks just fall apart around the engine...I don't know how many times I've been told that our trucks must have or are about to just completely fall apart.

I was just commenting on how many brand loyal idiots I've had tell me that all of these dodges (no reference to any generation or year) just fall apart, without fail; yet when I point to my experience with every generation of truck and engine (which my family owns at least one of each) and the absolute abuse that I've put mine through, the conversation starts over like a broken record about how they all just fall apart, without fail.
im looking at another 1st gen for 3K that has 97K miles on it.....5 speed 2wd regular cab long bed......hopefully i can get some info about it today from the guy thats selling it......also got a line on a 1st gen for only 500 bucks with a cummins and its supposedly 4x4......so yeah........daddy's gonna have some more new toys......

z out of her. cracked 2 bell housings, grenaded clutch a couple times and still goes strong.
