Newby to turbo diesel and Dodge as a brand. A few basic?
I am sure I can find these answers in previous posts but I am being a bit lazy at the moment.
Where I stand...
I have made a deal to get an 03 Ram 2500 with the 24v low output. It has a busted transfer case, a rotten body, but great interior. And an 03 Ram 1500 with the big magnum (bad engine) perfect body, interior, etc. Both are 4 dr.
Obviously, the plan is to combine the 2 using the 2500 frame and drive line.
First question, do I have to use the low outpit transfer or can I mate up the HO without mods?
Next, and this will be down the road, do the HO and low output use the same ECU, auto tranny, mounts and all that?
I will wait to ask any more stupid questions... any help would be appreciated.
