Hello all , new to the group! Currently rebuilding a 1994 Cummins 5.9 BT in a 1994 National RV 36 ft with 41k on it. While retiring from a small rv trip last fall it overheated , serpentine belt broke and caused all craziness to happen! (Blew radiator , burnt up piston number 1). Just retired from Air Force in June and finally had time with the awesome help of my brother to tear into it ! Sorry for the rambling ! My question I have pressing is this , ordered a rebuild kit as we are building in frame and ordered rebuild kit , the pistons that came are centered in the cup and the original ones are off-set/centered, have looked all over with no good answer , will this affect anything if we swap out to the new pistons? Thank you all for your help !
