Fine particles inside my fuel filter cap.
Hello,
Just changed my fuel filter in my 01 and there was very, very fine particles inside my fuel filter cap. I believe they are metal due to I am an auto trans re-builder and run in to this type of debris regularly. I have only had this truck for about 3 months or so but, when I was haggling the guy for price he did say they just recently put in a new fuel pump (in tank upgrade) because the one on the block failed. Could this debris be from the recent pump failure or do I have a bigger issue?
