most likly a one off for his truck, im working up a CAD (computer aided design) of one on my computer now to see if i can make it work, nice thing about my brother being an engineer he has all the programs for design, stresses and anything you need to know about how a product will function

my opinion on it is its a good idea but haveing to buy the brace and then modify it is a waste of time

oh absoloutley. I wouldnt buy the brace to just hack it up. He had the brace and ran it and after he went through 3 boxes puking he modified his. I would start from scratch

ill see what i can do, i dont think ill start selling these to sell unless i can get some good money out of them, welding is a hobbie for me not a job if i start getting burned out on it i quit for about 2 months then go for it again

if i could find someone with the nut that screws onto the steering shaft and the bearing ill be set

heres the link.
Two Bolt Flange Bearings Roller Chain V-Belts

Bearing is an SA 205-16 ( or 205-100 ) one inch bore self-aligning unit. Be sure to specify metal shields and a grease hole. Holder is a standard two-bolt flange FL 205.

The corrosion-resistant bearing part number is SealMaster SFT-16TC CR

also, I forgot. I had ordered a new nut pin and bearing from solid steel for $35. so give them a call. that was 4 years ago so I am sure it is more exspensive
