Just Totaled My 12 Valve
hey guys i just totaled my old 12 valve last night. i'm lookin to buy a common rail and was just wondering what kind of problems are common with them and how much any issues would cost to fix. i was also wondering what upgrades would be best to get to start with.

You made it out ok, I hope. Despite maybe a few bumps and bruises? I guess as far as upgrades is what do you want to do? If a daily driver, tow a little, I'd go w/ an Edge Juice w/ Attitude. The Attitude displays up to 4 parameters at a time, including boost, egt's, and transmission temp.

yeah whitmore I know i went to school with r daughter when we lived in kemmerer. and u know my dad adam wilson. i also new it was u by ur truck description. pretty easy truck to pick out of a crowd. so would u recomend a 24 valve similar to urs or a cr.

yeah i got out with just a couple bruises. trucks completly gone though hit a cow at about 70 mph. nothin left of the front end of the truck. hopin to buy it back from insurance so i can get some of the good stuff off of it for my dads 12 valve. any way about how much does the edge run and how much extra hp and torque could i excpect to get out of it

Has 6 levels, though level 6 costs $100 to unlock. Power depends on truck year. but ranges from 30-170hp and 60-400 lb/ft of torque. Cost ranges from $775-$1000, depending where you buy it from.

Where is this totaled 12 valve truck at??? is it in your posession???
I recommend another 12 valver myself..............best ever dude

no i don't have it now it got towed to green river im hopin to buy it back from insurance though. thought about putin it in my old 72 chevy be a hell of a lot of work though. i would like to get another 12 valve though. that was an awsome truck and the upgrades and replacement parts were a lot more affordable. u know or any one in the area wantin to get rid of a 12v second gen 5 speed 4x4 thats in decent condition
