Default 2x4 Cab & Chassis And 4x4 Front Suspension?

Curious is a 2x4 cab and chassis front axle a direct swap in place of a 4x4 front axle? Steering and track bar etc the same?

I would love to know the same thing fo reasons unknown too..... But I have looked at one and to my naked untrained eye, i don't see why the dana 60 wouldn't bolt right in. Looks like the same 4 link set up, except with a "dummy" axle in place of the live unit.
