Default 14 6.7..

Just bought my second Cummins. Had the 5.9, now the 6.7. This thing seems weak, allegedly 800ft/lbs of torque..but it doesn't feel it. I think it is all this emissions trash on it. My 5.9 had 400k miles on it and I believe it would run circles around this truck. It runs like it's choked. Has anyone deleted the **** tank and EGR on this new of a truck. I only see kits up to 2012? Otherwise this I real nice truck. I get 21mpg on the highway with cruise set and about 16.5 mixed driving. I just need to get this garbage off the truck. Anyone got any tips?

Well, I didn't expect that. Not one reply? Well I guess I will try to find answers elsewhere.

I haven't heard of people doing the deletes on the 14 cummins trucks with the def. Right now I don't think there is a delete for the 14 with the def delete because of the government cracking down on the companies making the delete kits.

EDGE has a module ready, it hasnt shipped yet. 5 selectable levels up to 150 horsepower. Im assuming that system is designed to work with some sort of deletes. Luke, you seen to be up to speed on all of this. A friend of mine says he gained about 1.5mpg on his 12 by deleting the EGR. He averages 19 per gallon. I have a 14, same wheel base etc., but I have averaged as high as 21.3mpg...and near 18,mixed driving. Can I expect to see this type of increase? What's the difference in the 2 trucks? Yes, they both have the same gearing.
