We got a mega cab for this very reason. Most of todays car seats are bigger than years before. We also have the car seats that are good to something like 100 pounds so we dont have to buy booster seats. They do fit back there but they have ver little leg room. If you only have one then they can sit in the middle. My daugther would always rest her legs on the center council. But with two I had to move my seat forward and it was uncomfortable and hard to shift. And one of them is always kicking the back of the seat. Mega cab, no worries. They cant reach the seat. I didn't wont to get rid of my picup either because all I'd done to it and the fact it was the first pickup I've owned and realy liked. I took me about 2 mths to decide to sell it and buy a new one. The other kicker was it was damn near paid for. Now I'm starting all over. IMO the room is well worth it for the amount of driving we do.

well as much as i would love to buy a new truck. i have decided to keep mine and pay it off which will be no more than 2 years....once it is paid off i am gonna sell it..and in 2 years time i figure i will still be able to get atleast 18k for my truck seeing as how the truck only has 58,000 miles and is garage kept and does not see rain...then i will have that money as a down payment for a new one and i wont hae a huge truck payment......
