Help with 12v in 2002
I'm making quite a bit of progress in getting the 12v ready to go into my 2002 dodge. I read in an old thread that the pick-up for the tach and the cruise is on the back of the cam gear and there is no good way to switch that out. If I get a harmonic balancer and sensor from a mid 90s cummins will it send the right signal to make them work on the 2002???
I'm also wondering if there is anyone with experience getting the clutch and brake peddles changed out. If I understand correctly the pin that the swing peddles hang on can be removed and the brake peddle removed and the clutch and new brake peddle installed on the same pin. Nothing on the brake master cylinder needs to be changed?? Do I need to get the master and slave cylinder for the clutch or can I use the slave from the 1990 and get a master for a 2002??
