Default Temp running from 190 to 240

Do any of you guys know what would cause my temp to run from 190 to 240 and constantly move never settling in one spot??? ... The radiator hose is also swollen and very hot when I check my motor.

I replaced the thermostat already ... With the radiator cap does it just need replaced ? And I'm re-torquing my head studs now because its bubbling some into the over flow tank but just started this thermostat thing a couple

yeah replacement of the cap. Did it start fluctuating after thermostat or was already doing it? You can test the cap to see if it holds pressure with a rad tester and a cap adaptor.

Just out of the blue ... I did the thermostat about two months ago ... I had the head gasket replaced 7000 miles ago and had it studded and it's bubbled ever since I picked it up from the shop but then it started belching fluid so I replaced the thermostat and now I have this going on ... Iv called a couple different ships and got several different answers anything from a cracked block or head to another blown head gasket to just a re torque on the studs so I'm re torquing them and when I cranked the first one to 130 it moved 3/4 of a turn

What are you final torqueing to? Does truck have fire rings? You might get lucky and the gasket reseal. Ive seen them leak and seal back up before.
