Default PUSHER Intake WTF??

Ok, the last couple of weeks has been pretty windy and dusty here in the bullet dodging city of El Paso, TX. Today I decided to take my induction/intake apart for a good thorough cleaning and inspection. I found a very very light hue of dust in the torque tube. I then dismantled the boost tubes for cleaning. But when I closely looked at my Pusher Intake elbow (black powdercoated), I saw that the powdercoating was cracked, in tiny sqares, and flaking off at the base flange, and up about 2 inches from the flange. I went ahead and removed the intake elbow and was shocked to see the inside of it. The powdercoating was also cracked, in tiny sqares, alot of it had flaked off and obviously been injested into my engine. WTF is this all about???? I've had this intake on for a bit over 3 years. If I had known this was gonna happen, I would have never bought the damn thing.
"Buyer Beware" keeps ringing in my head. Has anyone else had an issue with Pusher's powdercoated intake elbows? If Ya'll have them, check them! Im not sure if powdercoat flakes causes or will cause any engine damage. Anyone??
Im now in the market for an intake elbow/manifold.

I hear ya. This threw me for a loop. I never expected this. I like the Pusher design, so im thinking I may just buy another but in aluminum or stainless that Pusher offers. Im just a bit disappointed.
