Question Best Suspension???

Hey everyone, looking for the best way to level my ride. I want to get new shocks and springs in the front. 01 2500 Cummins 4x4 currently stock suspension. Should I get a "lift kit" or just new (slightly larger) springs and shocks? Can I upsize the springs and shocks without a full lift? Need suggestions!! Thanks
