Default 3rd Gen Quad Cab Room?

I am just curious. been trying to talk the wifey into a new truck lately. She's not budgin yet.. Do the 3rd gen quad cabs have sufficient room for back seat passengers? I like the looks of the quad cabs but kinda want a mega. But they are alot more money.. What do you guys think?

How biga people gonna be riding in the back? I'm 5' 11" and could probably ride in the back for two to three days...but not to awful comfortably. If you adjust the seats around though you can get everybody in a quad cab. If you're hauling the basketball team, get the Mega Cab

I have ridden in the back of the quad cab a few times, and my knees dig into the back of the person sitting in front of me, not a lot of room if your 6 foot.

But i haven't ridden in a mega before

You just gotta move the front seats forward, a little give and take if ya get my drift. Mega's are a dream to ride in though, so much room it's not even funny.

Yeah, but really lets say on the driver side, either your both uncomfortable, or one is very uncomfortable.

Unless you get a guy who sits 3 inches from the steering wheel, then you always want to sit behind him, lots of room for you. But i wouldn't voluntarily ride with some one like that... they are horrible drivers.

I would go for the mega. When I was looking for a truck, the back seat space was one of my main concerns. I was getting ready to start a family, and figured that the extra room would keep everyone happy. My father has a crew cab F-250 and I always thought that the room was good for back seat passengers. I have ridden in the quad cabs and was not impressed. Sort of like a extended cab with a door! When I bought the mega I was very impressed with the cab space. I am 6' plus, and have had no problems putting 6' plus passengers in the back, with the seats fully moved rearward. If you have any questions about the cab space in these trucks go with the mega, no questions. I would never buy anything else after riding in, changing diapers in, and filling with grown men!

I am biased but I would definately go with the Mega...I have 3 kids and its a dream. I just returned from a trip to Vegas and back with another couple and no concerns riding 19 hours each way!!! Get the rear DVD, its a must for both kids and adults!!
