Default Tuners Outlawed?

Hello DB's,
I did a search om this topic and found nothing.
I spoke with a local and he said that tuners for deletes will not be sold beginning Jan 1, 2013.
Does anyone have any concrete evidence on this?
Thanx in advance.

As of now all tuners that deal with EGR and DPF deletes are no longer being produced and once companies run out of stock on them they will no longer be sold. At least from what I gather.

10-4, thank you.
So then price hikes are the norm?
I was told that prices doubled.
Thanx again.

I am sure prices rose, supply and demand can be a PITA.

I was told that the tuners are discontinued atm, but some of the manufacturers are working with the EPA to change this, may be back towards end of jan. Just a rumor tho!
