Looking at picking up a new 3500. Going back and forth on a megacab shortbed drw or a crewcab long bed drw. Pros and cons from guys that own them would be great. Thanks

I went from a 2002 ford f250 crew cab to a 2008 dodge 2500 MEGA cab. I love my MEGA cab! The extra interior room is great, and I really don`t need alot of room in the bed. the bed is only 6" shorter than the bed of my f250. If you don`t get the mega cab , you`ll wish you did! Plus the look SUPER COOL lifted!! I vote Mega cab! My kids love it!! Click on my photebucket link and you can see pics of my mega cab

 

If you get a mega cab I would get srw just cause they look better and that dually bed looks hella expensive if you mess it up

 

Definetly the mega cab, i have the regular quadcab and the back seat is TINY. unless your missing your legs it can get pretty uncomfortable on the long trips. Mega cab however theres enough room for 3 comfortably

 

The 4th gen qaud cab is way bigger then the 3rd

 

If you tow, the shortbed will suck, The nose of your horse trailer will hit the corner of your cab, I had to kick my gooseneck back 9" to clear . Then the ride sucks. got a new trailer, got rid of the truck and trailer, longbed for towing.
