if you dont have a needle valve in there than you may have a kinked supply line causing a restriction

Ditch the isolator...

Get yourself a needle valve or pressure snubber and some 1/8" air brake line and life will be good.

You can get everything you need from one of our site sponsors: VULCAN PERFORMANCE:

If I had a picture I would have shown it to you. Sorry.

But, its what you need. It dampens pulses from the VP-44 and makes your guage smooth. That one is 1/8" NPT male on one end and 1/8" NPT female on the other.

negative on the 1/8" line, you can get it from virtually any auto/truck parts store. The rest of the fittings (the one at the banjo bolt and the fitting on the guage) can be had at a race/performance shop and possbly a harware store or Grainger.

1/8 inch stuff is at any hardware store in the plumbing supply area.

Just remember, NO TAPE ON ANY OF THE FUEL SYSTEM FITTINGS, PERIOD.

I like the air brake line much better than regular 1/8" tubing. It generally has more burst strength.

And Permatex #2 or teflon paste on all pipe fitting connections.

For 1/8 inch stuff I usually just go to the brass fittings in the plumbing section. They will have compression, barbed and threaded fittings to choose from.
