It took me awhile to find mine but I did mine last oil change 17000kms. I wish that Chrysler would have put an actual zerk there, what a pain in the but trying to look for it every time.

Count me in on that 90%, Whit! OOPS! Hopefully in the past when I have taken it into the quicky-lubes, they have done it. Probably shouldn't bet on it though, eh? Time to buy a needle fitting!

VICTORY IS MINE!!! I came, I saw, I lubed! That little devil is a PITB to find, though. I wasn't sure I was even in the hole until I pumped 15 squirts outa the minigun (mini grease gun that is, not a G.E. M-134/GAU-2B) and the last 2-3 were stiff and grease was coming from the shaft seals. Had to jack the front tires off of the ground to make spinning the D/S easier, but it all worked out. Thanks, guys, for talking us stupid people through this! Y'all ROCK!!!

The early 3rd gens don't even have a fitting...my 04.5 doesn't. If I didn't have the DT kit, I would be more concerned about it.

I didn't have any trouble finding it, but took several tries before I managed to get grease in there...

OBTW, it's known as a "double cardan joint."

Well, then, Cardan needs to be kicked DOUBLE, right in the joint, for making something about as user friendly as a rabid pitbull in heat! Stupid grease fitting!!!

141,000 miles on mine and it has never been lubed! Im gonna look at mine in the morning. Is that the only joint on both of the drive shafts that has the small hole or do all the joints have them?
