puttin the 12v on the rollers tomo
ok guys. i got a 6.0 but this sunday we are bringin my buddies truck to the dyno and the guy that has the dyno does do much in the way of diesels and said he doesnt kno wherre to hook the tach wire on the 94 12v to be able to show the torque reading a hp/tq curve. i guess if you dont hook it up, it will only be able to show hp?? how do i go about doing this
Yup gotta have the special pickup to read the marks on the damper on the crank. He should know right away what your talking abt since it's an option u can buy with the dyno. If he doesn't have one kinda useless to dyno the truck since u won't get all the readings.
I'm a Newb to diesels so I could be wrong, But...
I think it wont work because gassers pickup the spark impulse whick tells the rpm, there is no spark on a diesel, so it must reference off of the crank.
