Saturday August 11th, Jeff Dean (Stingpuller) will be out at Thompson Raceway Park with his Powerflow sponsored Duramax Diesel Dragster!



I'm currently working on details with the track manager to actually hold a Diesel ET class that day, since it will be a regular race day. The dragster will be making exhabition passes through out the day, and available for pictures, and or questions if you have any!

I'll keep this thread up to date once I get more information about the Diesel ET class.

First off, let me say sorry for not keeping up on this thread...got pretty busy at work, and home. Anyways...I did speak with the track manager, and there will be a ALL Diesel ET class that day!! Depending on how many trucks register to race, will reflect the payout. TRP will use their payment structure for the class.

I'll post up the event flier when I'm finished with it...should be later tonight...I'm going to the track this Wednesday to post them up, and hand some fliers out. The track has about 14-15 diesel trucks that come out on a regular basis on Wednesday's, and I was told the quickest one out there is like 13-14 seconds...

Well it got REAL damp there at Thompson this past Saturday. The good news is...they track will allow the all diesel bracket class back at another Saturday event, and if Jeff is able, he is free to come back as well, and make some more exhibition passes too!

Jeff only got 2 passes in this past Saturday...1 @ 1/4mile, and due to high cross winds...the track changed to 1/8 mile passes. Here is his 1/4mile pass, you can see the dragster get a little loose on him, so he lifted. He did put down a 5.00 @ 1/8...so he was moving pretty good before he had to let up.



Once I get the rain date set, I'll let everyone know...

 

Well if you all missed it due to the weather back in August, TRP will be letting us run the ALL DIESEL ET class on Saturday Sept. 22nd. Jeff Dean will be there as well with the Powerflow sponsored dragster making passes!! Come on out and race, and see the dragster! Hope to see some of you out there!!

Track didn't even open. Kinda pissed they didn't call me to tell me it was called due to rain...
