I would like to go to Bakersfield though I am not sure if I want to drive my truck in its current situation (crapping out tranny) up and over the grapevine and back, would hate to break somewhere goin up or down those hills, is a bit far from home.

As I said in above post, I may be going out to the desert instead, though right now everything is all up in the air-

weather.com says it's a 20% chance, so I doubt it'll rain enough for them to cancel...as long as it doesn't POUR the day before and leave the track still wet...I'll check with Reb and see if he's heard anything about it. there are a fair amount of people coming in from out of state, that'd be a bummer if it did get canceled!
