Default Socal Desert Camp/Wheel/Riding Trip

Well I have just been re-instated here, would like to thank DM.

That aside, I would like to let all SoCal members know that a weekend gtg is being planned for late feburary though even early march now, out in the ocotillo wells area. Not 100% sure of location and date as of now, though I already have a few people interested in going. Last year we had a similar event with a rather small turnout, I figure this year perhaps could have a few more people with some better planning.

That being said, anyone interested, either reply here and give ideas on date and location if you would like to add/suggest anything.

Anyhow, hope to get something planned, look forward to some replies here!

-Jeremy

Good question. With everything going on for me and work slowing (even at new non-construction job. UGH) I am not sure where and when the trip will be. May have to postpone it for a month, as I have some things I'd like to get done on my truck before taking it out yonder.

Though ideas on where to camp are more than welcome, anyone interested throw some out for us to decide on!

ok so i survived qvr 08. drank a keg of beer. got my truck muddy. blew 2 tires. found some peoples who stole and were stripping a jeep. had 4 friends have 3 fist fights. shot some guns. explored some holes in the ground. no rain. i was disappointed it only hit the 40`s while i was there. i mean the last 5 years it had been in the low 30`s hi 20`s. scared the crap out of some shady tweekers. taught some youngins hot to shoot.
ate more cambells soup then i will ever admit to.

so lets do it again soon for my sanity!!
