And just a little off topic...ive been driving my truck around since i got the stgIV installed, it is starting to shift smoothly now, but the 4-5 shift still throws ya around. drove 200+ miles with it in already mostly highway. im about to go do some city driving so it can finally learn itself.

I will take 75-100 shifts before the TCM smooths it out. Its not the amount of driving that programs it but the number of shifts. The best thing to do is get a Tech II and clear the TAPS then set it for fast learn. :U:

2500HeavyDuty 12-08-2007 04:27 PM

would you happen to have a tech II

DangerousDuramax 12-08-2007 04:30 PM

Nope, but I know someone who does...:w2:

If you talk really really nice to Russell (RTToys) he might just let ya pay the usual fee of a 30 pack of Miller High Life to reset your tranny for ya.

2500HeavyDuty 12-08-2007 04:46 PM

well.... one of my friends who works at hooters is having a bday party... and i could get rtttoys to come over and get some free beer

DangerousDuramax 12-08-2007 04:47 PM

And this pertains to your tranny shifting HOW? :ha:
