Did anyone go to the TS show last year in Bowling Green KY? How was it and is it worth the drive?

 

Yeah, it was ok. The whole drag strip debacle kinda screwed up our day though.

The TS guys had to clean up that mess before they could work on the track so, the pulls got started late, and lasted 'til like 4am.

But, it was a pretty good day. I'm goin again this year, as long I ain't outa town.

Get a hotel now though. It's a BIG event for local guys, and everybody wants to stay and party for the weekend.

Hopefully you'll see a black crew cab ford in the 2.6 class this year. I didn't pull last year.

Same here. I need to do a bottom end build before I go any further, if it ain't done and I can't go any further before then, then I'm not gonna embarrass myself.

2.6 will probably average 650 HP . I'm just a little short of that.

 

I fall pretty much in that range ...don't know for sure which cam/turbo combo i'm use this year

 

I went in 08 had a good time, sure glad i didnt go in 09 went to sdx instead.

 

I went to scheid in 08 ..was hot as h_ _ _ ...and i was not a big fan of the fence up in front of the pull track ..not sure if i'll go back or not

 

Just be prepared for foolishness. The sky over Bowling Green looks like freakin L.A. for the whole weekend. Think the Cops probably make ALOT of money between friday and saturday night.
